Preliminary Rover Toolkit Documentation


Preliminary documentation is available for the alpha release of the Rover Toolkit.

The alpha release of the toolkit contains a subset of the toolkit functionality and applications. The stability of the toolkit and applications is not guaranteed. Future releases may include additional or different functionality and applications.

The following documents are very much works in progress. Some toolkit functions are not documented or may have changed since the documentation was prepared.

Available documentation topics include:
  1. Installing the Rover Toolkit. Directions for getting the source code and building the Rover toolkit. (up-to-date)
  2. Rover Server-Side interface. Information about the server-side APIs and server control flow. (stale)
  3. Rover Client-Side interface. Information about the client-side APIs and client control flow. (stale)
  4. Creating Rover Applications. Examples of client-side and server-side application components. (stale)
  5. Sanjay Ghemawat's Tcl object class library. This library is used to construct RDOs. The library was developed separately from the Rover toolkit. (up-to-date)
